These 30 minute group classes lead you through your daily dose of movement.

Ready to feel the effects of a weekly mobility routine?

Mobility refers to the ability of a joint to actively move muscles and joints through a full range of motion. Good mobility requires many components of fitness including strength, balance, and flexibility.

Movement is not something that our current culture encourages.

However, all research states, that having good mobility leads to a long list of health benefits.

Reduce muscle tension and soreness

A good stretch helps whether you are moving for the first time today, or you need to stretch a muscle that is tight from exercise. Mobility exercises help reduce soreness and reduce muscle cramping.

Reduced Stress

Movement helps reduce cortisol levels, leaving you feeling calm and relaxed afterwards.

Improved Circulation

If you have a desk job, the time spent in the same position slows down circulation and increased health risks. Just 30 minutes of movement helps reverse this effect.

Improved Posture

Mobility exercises can help improve posture by lengthening tight muscles and strengthening weak ones. The ability to have full range of motion in all joints, ensures equal balance of your weight and movement, leaving you relaxed and in good posture.

Injury prevention and faster recovery times

If you are exercising or have an active hobby after work, good joint mobility can help prevent muscle imbalances and injuries. Mobility exercises can also help you recover more quickly after an intense workout.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be a patient at AFC to attend classes?

-NO. We welcome the entire community to come try a dose of movement.

What if I'm not as mobile as others?

-NO PROBLEM. We can offer modifications to the more advanced movements and work with your personal mobility today, with the hopes of seeing improvement over time.

What if it hurts to do "xyz" movement?

-You are in a medical office! If our trainer sees you struggling, our modifications should help. If those aren't helping your pain, we can suggest treatment options to help get you to the level of mobility that will allow you to move pain free.

What do I need to wear?

-You can come straight from work, straight from bed or any other combination that works for you. We ask that you remove your shoes when entering and store your things in a space located by the door.

How do I sign up?

-You can give us a call, or send us a Facebook message to get signed up for the membership. You can also just show up to a class and pay before or after class. You can pay $10 as a drop in or sign up for the month for $45.

Will you offer more class times?

-Yes, if these classes start to fill up we will start adding more class times. We hope the morning class at 8:30am will work for parents after dropping kids off or when you start work on the midday shift. The afternoon time of 4pm should work for students and teachers and anyone wanting to wind down or warm up for afternoon sports and activities.
